December 2013 - Please Note: BLACK available again!
Trickstuff wouldn’t be Trickstuff without such highlights as the Exzentriker. This is the first and worldwide unique eccentric bottom bracket that can be mounted in normal BSA bottom bracket housings and will accept any conventional 24 millimeter bottom bracket spindle (e.g. Shimano Hollowtech II and many others). It allows infinite chain adjustment for single-speed bikes or gear hub bikes (e.g. Rohloff) and dispenses with chain tighteners or adjustable drop outs.
Exzentriker beds the bottom bracket bearing in two special amazingly smooth bearings. The bearings offer an almost infinite service life, with exceptional rust-resistance and top quality lubricant far superior to other conventional bearings.
The Exzentriker is also protected by patent.
And, it goes without saying, brained and made in the Black Forest!
||Exzentriker is compatible with all continous 24mm spindles such as Shimano Hollowtech II, with an adapter sleeve (to be sourced from Aerozine and Chris King) it also fits Truvativ 24/22mm spindles.
Chris King adapter:
Not compatible with BB30, square tapered BBs, tune six tapered BBs
PLEASE NOTE: When using standard triple cranksets the bosses for the small chain ring may collide with the outer contour of the Exzentriker egg. Use single speed cranks (Shimano Alfine et al) or dual road cranks or latest dual or single mountain race cranks. Or fine down the bosses.
